Analysts
are betting that ringback tones will soon become a must-have for
mobile subscribers and that revenue from the enhanced service
will eventually outpace that of downloadable ringtones.

In 2003,
ringtone revenue topped $2.3 billion worldwide, according to
telecom consultancy Ovum, as cited in a recent BusinessWeek
article. Ovum predicts that worldwide ringback tone revenue
could skyrocket from the $148 million in 2003 to $2.4 billion by
2008.

Incoming calls
are one of the only features in which consumers have access and use it all the
time. This reason alone is why offering your customers MobiMogul AdTones™
as a value added service will increase your ARPU.
Mobile service
providers continually need to differentiate themselves and strengthen
their brand with new revenue generating services that are innovative and
meet the needs and desires of their subscribers.
These services need to come to the market and be adopted quickly by
current and new subscribers to assure rapid returns on investments,
increased revenue streams and market share, and improved customer
retention levels.
As ringback tones become more sophisticated, which they must in order to
achieve long-term success, solution providers will need equally
sophisticated solutions to manage ringback tone offerings and look to
find ways to create new solutions that consumers will adopt.
